Booking Conditions

Arrival and Departure

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, for the minimum period of 1 week, except during the off peak season when short weeks may be available. Arrival is from 4pm and the cottage needs to be vacated by 10am at the end of your stay. The maximum number of guests is 4, plus one infant using the cot.


The price charged for the week is inclusive of all your electricity and fuel (oil).

Linen and Towels

These are included in the price and we provide feather duvets and pillows, bath mat, towels, dish towels etc. For stays of more than one week all linen can be changed after 7 days.

Cleanliness, breakages and damage

Cleaning equipment is provided so please keep and leave the cottage clean and tidy. Any breakages or damages will need to be paid for.


In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your holiday we shall seek to re-let the property for the period, and if successful we will then refund the monies in full less a £20 handling charge. If we are unable to re-let, then monies paid will be non-returnable. You may wish to arrange your own cancellation insurance.

If for some reason we have to cancel the booking, we will endeavour to find alternative and comparable accommodation within the area. Should this not be possible we will refund the monies to you in full.

Please note:

  • No smoking in the cottage
  • No pets inside the cottage.
  • As the bedrooms and bath room are upstairs the cottage may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
  • You should be aware that a small stream runs near the cottage, so small children may need to be supervised.


We require 50% of the cost to confirm your booking, the balance is due 6 weeks before your arrival date. Payment should be made by cheque or bank transfer, payable to ‘Camnacar’. Please send it to:
